Where Can I Put My Money?

ASN/ASB
Before you start buying a house or a car or consider any other investment, take your first step by investing in Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) or Amanah Saham Nasional (ASN) because the government guarantees the funds and they always give dividends that are higher than the market. Nowhere in the world does the government offer such safe investment products.

Financial Goals and Risk Tolerance
You’ve got to first decide what your financial goals are. Are you saving for an education fund for your children? Are you saving for your retirement? Or do you have some extra money that you don’t quite know what to do with? The answers to these questions will determine how much risk you can take. Then, you decide where you can put your money.

The Capital Market
The capital market comprises the equity market of stocks and fixed income instruments or bonds. It also has the derivatives market comprising the futures, options, swaps and others. Don’t be intimidated by them, but read and ask to find out more about the products offered in the market.
