DPM: Invest to gain know-how (The Star, 9 December 2011)

PERTH: More Malaysian companies should invest in technological ventures overseas to help Malaysia achieve its National Key Economic Area objectives, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said.

He said Malaysian companies should not be deterred from entering the fray although there could be more established players in the field.

The Deputy Prime Minister cited Sapura Crest Petroleum Berhad’s operations here, where its 94% owned subsidiary Total Marine Technology Private Ltd manufactures Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).
